Foundation Candlestick Workshop
Covers single-candle shapes, two-candle combinations, and basic reversal signals. Includes a take-home pattern workbook and follow-up email summary.
From £185 per person
Hub Streamhub runs small-group workshops and private coaching sessions for people who want to read price charts with confidence — starting with the shapes on the screen, not abstract theory.
Every participant works from physical A3 chart printouts before moving to a screen. Marking bodies, wicks, and gaps by hand builds pattern recognition that sticks.
Workshops stay small so the instructor can walk the room, answer questions about your own examples, and correct misreadings before they become habits.
Sessions focus on reading skill. We do not sell trading accounts, signals, or software licences during or after the workshop.
Choose a format that matches how you learn — a structured two-evening foundation course, a focused pattern clinic, or private coaching with your own chart examples.

Bring three charts you are currently studying. We identify the patterns present, discuss what they suggest, and note where context overrides the shape alone.
£95 per session
Structured programme over four sessions, tailored to your pace. Suitable if you prefer working through examples privately before joining a group.

Feedback from recent foundation workshops and coaching sessions held at our Slimbridge classroom and via video call.
The printed chart exercise on evening one was exactly what I needed. I had been staring at green and red bars on my phone without understanding why the wick length mattered. By the second session I could label a hammer and explain why the prior downtrend context changed how I read it.

James walked through my FTSE chart during a pattern clinic and showed me I was calling every small-bodied candle a doji. Useful correction, though I wish we had more time on engulfing patterns — he said that comes in the foundation course, which I have now booked.

Online coaching worked well for me living in Manchester. Shared screen, annotated PDFs sent afterwards. The four-session structure kept me accountable. Still find reading volume alongside candles tricky, but that was flagged honestly as outside the scope.

Practical notes on candlestick reading for people at the start of their chart study.
A doji is often the first pattern beginners spot — and the first they misread. Here is how to check whether it actually signals indecision.
Horizontal levels become more useful when you know which candle shapes tend to appear as price approaches them.
Evening workshops run on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We reply to enquiries within two working days with available dates and what to bring.
